Power forward Anthony Bennett is versatile enough that he could play guard if needed because of his shooting ability, but he’s also a strong inside player.
Kentucky is one of five schools on his list of college choices. He says he will not make a final decision until his season ends. ESPN national recruiting director Paul Biancardi is sold on Bennett’s talent.

“When he is at his best, his versatility at power forward is as good as there is in this class,” Biancardi said.

“He’s broad shouldered, has a nice shooting touch, can score inside, can step out 15 to 17 feet or even shoot a 3 and he’s all over the glass. He’s a productive rebounder and defensively, he can jump out on the ball screen and still spring back to the rim. He has good mobility and speed.” Biancardi does have one worry about Bennett.

“He’s had a pulled hamstring this year which he has done the right thing by not trying to come back too quickly,” Biancardi said. “But he was hurt last year with a leg injury, too. That’s two years in a row he’s been hurt and that worries me a bit about his future.”
