CHARLOTTE, N.C- Andrew Wiggins took another big step towards being recognized as the top prospect in his class, dropping 21 points and grabbing 10 rebounds at the Jordan Brand Classic international game. Numbers weren't the only thing Wiggins impressed us all with. He seemed to thrive in a featured match-up against highly touted Slovenian forward Mario Hezonja, who was held to just 6-of-19 shooting in large part because of Wiggins’ defense. The MVP of the White Team in the International game, Wiggins is a 6-7 wing from Canada who just turned 16 in February. He was pretty clearly the most developed player in the contest. He also had the highlight play of the game, a steal and coast-to-coast drive that ended with a dunk on Serbian forward Mario Hezonja. In his words: “Before, I had a lot of chances to dunk the ball but I didn’t dunk it, I just finger-rolled it in. So that moment when I stole the ball, I wanted to get at least one dunk so I went up for it and got it.”
